NUESTRA MISIÓN

El proyecto es una iniciativa comunitaria para la creación y mantenimiento de un Parque Ecológico Costero “La Ceiba” en el Área Oeste de la Isla Municipio de Vieques.  El propósito del parque es que sea dedicado al disfrute de los residentes, visitantes, turistas y el público en general.  Se propone que el mismo conserve la Flora y Fauna creando un oasis del área en su estado natural.

La propuesta incluye la creación de senderos paisajistas, pista de caminar o trotar, área de anfiteatro, pabellón, estacionamiento y la identificación de la flora y fauna.  Se pretende que el parque beneficie a todos los miembros de la comunidad, a los visitantes, atractivo turístico y educativo.

 

OUR MISSION

This Project is a community initiative for the creation and maintenance of a Coastal and Ecological Park “La Ceiba” located on the West side of the Municipal Island of Vieques.  The purpose of the park is for the enjoyment of residents, visitors, tourists and the general public.

The proposal includes the creation of natural trails, walking and jogging track, amphitheater, Pavilion, parking, and the identification of the flora and fauna species. The park is dedicated to the benefit of all the members of the community, visitors, and as a tourist and educational attraction.
